Nicholas Schroeder, MD

Board Certified Spine Surgeon

Nicholas Schroeder, MD, is a skilled orthopedic spine surgeon practicing at Orthopedic Specialists of Oakland County, which has two locations in Bloomfield Hills and Clarkston, Michigan. Dr. Schroeder grew up in the Detroit area. He attended Lahser High School and Michigan State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science with high honors in nutritional science. 

Dr. Schroeder graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Michigan and further refined his skill by completing a spine fellowship at the University of Colorado. 

This extra year of training was primarily focused on diagnosing and treating spine conditions with the latest minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Schroeder is one of the few orthopedic surgeons specifically trained in conditions of the low back and the entire spine. 

Dr. Schroeder is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
